This month's song was "Uprising" by Muse, and while it was a small feature, they're some awesome works.
Uprising in GreyThe sky was grey, as usual. Every day I took note of everything I could as subtly as I could. Whether it was noticing that 491-C's limp was worse, or figuring out when someone forgot to put pepper in the mashed potatoes at lunch. Sometimes I thought if I didn't do this I would lose myself, like most everybody else.
I was walking inside a large crowd; we were all heading towards the same place. The institution. Once a week we all had a check up, to make sure everything was "in order". In other words, to make sure we were all still completely under control. My steps faltered thinking about the consequences of my resistance.
